Paella Time

Last night I got lucky and got to enjoy some great Seafood Paella. Of course, my mom did most of the prep work and I did the cooking outside on the Paella Pan. It turned out pretty good. It had Shrimp, Lobster, Scallops, Clams Mussels, and Octopus. I only ate the first 2.

Some photos can be found at Flickr.

The picture blur should prove that I need a new camera.

Paella 2.0

This weekend, I help my parents cook Paella again for a business dinner. This time we used the large pan. To give you an idea on how big, it took 2 people to carry it into the house. In this Paella there was rice, scallops, shrimp, fresh water shrimp (hard shelled blue shrimp), crawfish, lobster, clams, mussels, and special sauce. The total weight was probably close to 30-40 lbs.

If you want to make your own Paella, don’t worry as I found 2 locations that sell the supplies. Go to PaellaPans.com and Hot Paella for the pans and any other suplies you might need.

Seafood Paella

Last night we made some seafood paella, which consisted of rice, lobster, shrimp, scallops, and clams. My pops wanted to throw in some mini squids, but I wasn’t having any of that. The paella was all cooked in a special paella pan that my parents picked up in Peru a year ago.
