Monkey Boy

This past week Stacy and I were at Old Navy just looking around when I noticed this costume that I thought would be perfect for Nico.  Reason being we usually call Nico, “Monkey Butt” or call his feet “Monkey Feet”. So I called my sister to make sure that she had not purchased a costume for him yet.

Her response, “Does it look like a baby costume?”

My response ” Anything for a 2 year old is probably going to look like a baby costume.”

Peek-A-Boo

I spent most of the day and my parents house.  When I arrived I saw http://www.nicoputman.com peaking out of the holes in the brick wall in my parents garage.    I was lucky to get a few photos before her turn around to look at the bubbles.

Nico Swimming

Nico came over this weekend for a little dip in the pool. He had a blast. He will definitely be back to have some fun in the pool. Of course, his pops was in the pool swimming with him and having just as much fun.

Nico Napping

About 2 weeks ago, while I was helping babysit Nico I took him for a walk in his stroller. When I got back, I realized that he had fallen asleep. Below is a shot of him taking a nap. That is him pictured below with his little hat to block the sun from his eyes. It must have done a good job, because it put him to sleep.

Nico Valentine’s Day Photos

Here is a photo of my godson Nico Putman. Of course, more can always be found at flickr.com. I am just a little late posting it online.

Nico’s First Snow

Here is a photo of Nico sitting in the snow. More photos can be found at flickr.com.

Nico’s First Halloween

Last night I went over to see Nico to see him in his Halloween costume. He was dressed up as a mini lobster. I know I probably had a death grip on him, but I have not gotten used to holding him 100% yet.

Babysitter for a night

Last night I was given the honor of babysitting my nephew Nico. It was only for a few hours, but it was babysitting. While I was driving there my sister called and said, “there is nothing to eat in the house.” That is where I answered with a question, “what would you do if it was a real babysitter.” And that is when I heard silence on the other end of the line.

I arrived after picking up a bite to eat and a few Mountain Dews. After a little time there I fed little Nico his bottle. I burped him a few times and put him to sleep. Lucky part about it all is that I did not have to change a dirty diaper. Of course, it will happen one day.

Me and Nico

Nico

Nico stopped by with my sister yesterday. This means he is now 1 month old. I did take a few photos with me holding him but they did not come out that good. I guess I need one of those new motion free cameras.

Me and Nicolas

Here are some photos of me and Nicolas. Yes, he has more hair than I do. More to come soon.

My Nephew

My sister just went to the doctor and got a new ultrasound photo of her soon to be son. Below are a two of the photos. One with him sticking his tongue out and another one showing that he is truly a boy.

It’s a boy.

On my previous post, I mentioned that my sister and her husband will be having a boy. I got permission from them to post the photo of the ultrasound. Here is a photo of the baby.

It is official.

It is official, I am going to be an uncle. My sister and her husband will be having a baby boy. Date to be disclosed at a later time. I will say that there are still many months to go. If I get permission I will post the Ultasound photos.
